Japanese probe launches on mission to Mars to collect samples from Phobos

일본 우주항공연구개발기구(JAXA)가 화성 위성 포보스에서 시료를 채취하기 위한 탐사선 MMX를 발사했다. 탐사선은 2027년 8월 화성 궤도에 도착해 포보스 표면을 탐사하고 시료를 확보한 뒤 2030년 지구로 돌아올 예정이다.
